Journal of English Language Teaching does not take ownership of the copyright of any published article. The articles published in the journal are the intellectual property of the authors, who retain the copyright to their articles and may republish these articles as part of a book or other edited volumes. However, while republishing an article published in JELT, authors must ensure that the following conditions have been met:
- The original source of the publication (the title, volume, number, and year of publication in the Journal) should be acknowledged.
- The article will remain published in JELT website (except in case of retraction of the article).
